Lost Highway was on the box a couple of days ago. Superb soundtrack now on my Amazon wish list. Obscure tracks by Bowie and Lou Reed, but more to the point some wicked bass-led chill-out stuff. Better than the film, really.

Attempting now to recover from the Week of Hell at Work, followed by eleven hours of sleep last night. Getting old ... sucks.
I have just bought Victory Train by Tenor Saw. Recorded in the mind 80s, it is the best track he ever recorded. Seeing as he was killed in Houston in 88 in suspicious circumstances, he's not likely to ever do better. Victory Train is on no album and doesn't even appear on reggae compilations (that I can find). I was given an address to order a 12" vinyl copy over the web. I've been looking for it for nearly 30 years only owning a version taped from a radio programme when it came out. So I'm not listening to it yet, but I soon will be with any luck.
'Tis indeed a Black Victory label edition. Let's just hope it's not scratched. I have no idea where it has suddenly appeared from after all this time.
