  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. cool cool, pretty sure i am just a dealer visit and decent offer away from getting one.
or maybe a desert sled, or maybe not. argh. fecking hate selling my stuff.

  2. Short tank range for the highlands. No less practical than any of the other supermoto style uprights such as the KTM SMs which I'm converted to but I find the Hypers uncomfortable. Hard seat and for me a nut crusher that's always shooting me into the tank. Other people find them fine. Fun bikes if they fit your body but I wouldn't swap my SMT for one.

Anyway.. back on topic. Vote Leave. Oh.. we have. :D

  5. Is Nippy a Calvinist? I thought she was more anti-Christ. If she's Presbyterian and communist the Scottish are in real trouble. One or the other is miserable enough but both...
You won't be allowed to leave the house on Sundays next.

  6. Just another blog of nonsense

Had they researched the Scottish industry then they would have found a healthy small independent distillers group but not in large numbers.

The rest and the biggest numbers of Scottish producers ergo profit/tax revenue, are either owned by multi national investment companies or multi national alcohol producers. Very few are Scottish, based in Scotland and I do honestly wonder how many people confuse producers of Scottish with it actually being made in Scotland.

  7. I thought she was more of a cloth sack kinda girl in public, hate to imagine what she dresses like in private with hubby, probably pvc and whips

  8. couple of whoppers in that little piece of the usual bollox variety, but we can do that later if you wish.
but seeing as we are going all Scottish. i came (almost quite literally exe) :smileys: across this little piece the other day by the dug. i love the dug btw.
a v.clever and funny way of putting our place in the uk and possibly the EU in to perspective.

  9. dug's a plank

if you believe him then there is no point in there being any Scottish mp's and lords in Westminster and no point in having a devolved Scottish parliament because according to him, I know this because he said in that link, they are all a waste of time and have no real power. Why are the Scots paying for them then?

Once outside the EU the power of the Westminster parliament will not be constrained by anything at all. It will be absolute. Absolute power over Scotland, an absolute power which has ruled that Scotland doesn’t even have the right to be consulted about policies which affect it.

He needs to make his mind up on which one he thinks is factual

Scotland will be able to form alliances with other member states and vote accordingly. We can’t do that in the UK parliament.

You lie sir, during the last two votes i.e. in the election and brexit, the snp openly tried certainly with plaid cymru and a little touch of the Northern Ireland parliament, to form a union against Westminster, the fact the other two parties knew you were nuts and so quietly stopped supporting your separatist cause was quite obvious to many

The harsh reality for Scotland is that tiny member states of the EU, countries that are far smaller and poorer than Scotland, have a veto power over the negotiations. That means that the governments of Estonia and Malta have more control over Scotland’s destiny than the people of Scotland do themselves.

Nope. Again with the snp nationalism blinkers. The eu does not vote as separate countries and move forward as separate countries. It has member states vote and the governing body then moves the union forward based on the majority vote.

The irony here is that is what we have just done with brexit, member countries took a vote and the majority vote was then taken forward by the governing body, the snp has said is wrong but wants to join an organisation that does exactly the same.It has member states vote and the governing body then moves the union forward based on the majority vote.

How can the snp say the when the U.K. does it is is wrong but when the eu uses the exact same system, then it's right?

When it all comes down to it, the snp are not after a better Scotland, they are after a bigger table to sit at and nothing more. You cannot say a seat at a table of 4 gives you less influence than a table of 28.

The harsh reality for Scotland is that tiny member states of the EU, countries that are far smaller and poorer than Scotland, have a veto power over the negotiations. That means that the governments of Estonia and Malta have more control over Scotland’s destiny than the people of Scotland do themselves.

The old minority card, god so predictable. At the same time as saying smaller poorer countries should not control larger more richer countries, when it comes to Scotland, the snp have accused Westminster of doing just that to scotland, make your mind up buddy, you're trying to have your cake and eat it.

You're a victim one minute then you spout off about poorer smaller countries should NOT have a say. Should you leave the U.K. and join the eu, do you think the 12 smaller countries will not have a say on things that effect Scotland? Idiotic snp rhetoric and nonsense

  10. He's completely wrong in his analysis from the word go. The UK is not a unitary state to which Scotland belongs as a possession. That is utter tripe. He needs to stop watching juvenile sitcoms of twenty years ago that were intended to be watched by twenty-somethings in their pants when they've come home from the pub and go away and study the constitution. Scotland is an equal partner in a union under the crown which it entered voluntarily. It is not a chattel of England or the other constituent parts of the UK and it is not under colonial rule.

Nor is the EU a union of sovereign states. It is not a political union, it is a customs union. It behaves like a political union without having the democratic authority from the people of its member states to make it legitimate nor the political, constitutional or monetary framework in place to make it workable and is therefore by default (or design) a quasai single state ruled over by unelected an senate but ungoverned and ungovernable. Sovereignty is pooled between member states. National sovereignty of member states can only be exerted by leaving and repealing that legislation which cedes authority to the institutions of the EU. In that sense members are sovereign. They retain the right to leave at any time. But while it is extant EU membership is designed to overwrite and replace national sovereignty, it does not exist in parallel, augment or work in partnership with it.

  11. ah ha.:Hilarious:
first paragraph noob is probably right. the non embedded (contrary to what was promised) scotland bill and sewal convention. has just been proved, it can be overruled.
the second is also bollox, how can you form an alliance to force legislation with other devolved governments if they too can be overruled and have no say at Westminster? power devolved is power retained as the courts have just proved.
whats a member state that isn't also a country? lost me on that one?. and a majority vote wins? no shit Sherlock. currently we have a uk parliament doing our bidding for us, not scotlands elected government. ie, our elected parliament has no influence. we send our elected MEP's to brussels, westminster decides the policies it wants to peruse via the uk commissioner. sounds like there is an awful lot of democracy going on, at least at EU.level, who you trying to kid?.
at the moment we don't have a seat at the table, we have fluffy mundel. who, as you know, is quoted as saying, ITS NOT HIS JOB TO REPRESENT SCOTLAND AT WESTMINSTER, ITS HIS JOB TO REPRESENT WESTMINSTER IN SCOTLAND". duh!.
i think you need to reread your smaller countries should not control larger countries, that as you know fine, is not what he is saying. they are a member of the club, with influence, currently the scot gove has none
sewal, the supreme court has confirmed, means nothing not including the recent scotland bill, every amendment forwarded by Scottish MP's voted down by English MP's. English votes for english laws, English votes for Scottish powers. many of those amendments where promises made by camoron. and voted down
yes i believe we are a victim, in the same way the north and west of england is a victim. the big difference being we have viable options that cant be whipped for the benefit of the government or so called opposition. and feck do they hate it.
and of coarse the smaller countries in the EU with a fraction of our resources would have a say. but so would we.. all good.
god, the silly things you say.
equal partners he said, lead the way he said, not completely ignore your vote on brexit, the opposite of what was threatened two year previous, although options are doable. do as we tell you and quietly if you don't mind.
that is what you want isnt it minesanoob? a one party state ruling from westminster. what yer needing to do is erase the notion of empire 2.0 from your mind. chill, relax man. country, not a region.
stop inventing conflict and other things that dont exist.
no more time to argue yer bollox, but maybe i could correct some more of yer pish later?
same old same old, from minesanoob

  18. I think you're being a bit hard on Alex Salmon to be fair fin.

True he's been an mp for 30 years and still hasn't got Scotland to leave the U.K. and then an upstart like Nigel comes along and gets the whole of the U.K. to leave europe without even being an mp and only being in politics for 18 years.

Still if ever we need someone for parties, weddings, bar mitzvah's and to shout "freedom" every 5 minutes then we can always call Alex for a smaller fee than Nigel you understand.

I must admit I'm not sure either, the snp double speak has always confused many and that is why I am glad BBC Scotchland programmes mostly have subtitles.
