@bradders yes i know that bike, has spend most of its life on the track, the gear box shit it self so the engine had to come out, thats why the bloke sold it. Tim rebuilt it along with new boots, brakes, gear box, main bearings ect ect, but to be fair the chap never had a problem with it other that the gear box destroyed it self.

It may have been registered in 2003 but is more likely to be a MY2002 748e. The after market carbon seat unit looks awful and although low mileage and looks as though it's been looked after, is IMO too strongly priced. Andy
I emailed about it been serviced at 3195,3490,3860,4818,6350 at ducati Coventry the belts are getting changed and all the oil and fluids...I would be interested in this one just that rear carbon looks awfull...might phone him tomorrow if bikes as described what would be fair price 4400...4500?

So no record of the 600 mile 1st service ? If it's genuinely been to Ducati Coventry, a phone call to the service department should confirm that. If I've got the pictures right, the rear subframe looks like it was a biposta. A quick check of evil bay, no yellow biposta seat units on sale in the UK so you might have to make do with an aftermarket copy to get rid of the carbon unit. There is much about the bike to like but I'd still be offering a figure starting with a 3. You have to be happy with whatever deal you can negotiate but you have to be prepared to walk away if the deal doesn't make sense. Good luck. Andy
