  1. Hi all. New here so please no offence intended or implied just a question..... Are any members/subscribers/watchers etc based up in my area interested in meeting up for a chat & ride out and if so would you be interested in being alerted through WhatsApp chat group or prefer a notice being posted up in the forum? I'm not looking to become social secretary or anything as formal but I have been approached by one other member and it seems reasonable to see if there are any others in this area up for meeting and enjoying some of the brilliant roads in this area. Past experience seems to suggest posting on forums tend to get a high response initially but as the actual date looms other things and life take presidence resulting in a low turn out hence the suggestion of a WhatsApp group without any expectations. Thoughts & comments welcome.....

  4. Oops, NW - you have TTon up NE :Bucktooth:

  5. yip, not northeast, tho i can vouch for the roads, once out ballater way and beyond. i mess around up there 2-3 times a year which gives me a good 3-400ml round trip. i usually go via avimore up over glenshee. superb.

  6. Yes i am up here , would be interested in any meets / runs but am working away just now so not sure about any dates , but perhaps could make some , not sure about great roads in the NE tho , apart from the Lecht and glenshee . Odly I really like the 96 Abz to Invns ,,,,,,,,,,,, PS if it is just bikers in general and not necessarily Ducati ones to go for rides with I can certainly highly recommend the " buchan bikers " , you can find their FB page or pm me I can put you in touch .

  9. Thanks for this. There are a few posts about lack of interest from Ducati members of SDC in Aberdeen area not coming forward for socials so I thought I would post here just in case..... As I said from the start - no agenda just asking the question. As an aside... How far south are you??? Post at 0423hrs suggests a different time zone mate!!!

  10. , isNope not different time zone, atm am working nights and one of the perks of the job I can use the internet...

Based in Northern Lincolnshire but have attended many SDC weekend events over the years...

If you look on the SDC & FB page my bike, is the bike of the month as in their SDC calendar...
