Well,Ive only gone and done it!.Despite the 0% finance still being listed on, it turns out historic news section of their website,no longer being available, once I was in the showroom and sitting on the bike there was no going back. The list price of a 796 non abs is around £7495+£130 reg fee+£200 for the low seat option as I'm around 5' 6 inches short. They had a pre reg 796 with approx 5 miles on the clock,62 reg,and would fit the low seat option for £6995 all in.Seemed like a reasonable offer to me.Thought about fitting Termis prior to picking up bike next week, but decided to wait for now and see how it goes. The dealer was really helpfull, even willing to deliver the bike for free if I wanted to,although, despite the weather at this time of year,I am planning on picking it sometime next week. Any comments,ie should have done better with regard to the deal etc would/may be welcome,Ta
Nice one, I do like those new monsters, but termi's are a must. Post some pics when you can. I salute your eagerness to ride this time of year (and do so myself on an old blade) but it would be rude to take a brand new duke out in the road grit! I have just got a new panigale but cant bring myself to get it covered in winter shite.
Congrats on the new purchase. Its always nice when you are in the position to buy a new bike. Take it nice and easy, and get some anti corrosion spray on the bike, avoiding the discs etc  Im with you on the termis, wait for a bit as they're quite an outlay, especially after buying the bike. The great thing is you can always get them later. For me, they'll probably be one of the last things I get for my bike. I think the stock ones look fine and sound great too, so im in no rush. Enjoy the bike and enjoy the ownership, its a great feeling
Nice bike, enjoy it. But, if it's pissing it down, icy cold and foggy or the roads are covered in crap...........have it delivered.
I'll give you 3 grand for it  Congrats on the bike. Everything is worth what you are willing to pay Enjoy.
£3000??? You'll be paying way over the odds at this time of the year. It's worth £2500 all day long though
Winter approaching, Italian electrics & alloy, mate, i'll be doing you a favour if i give you £1500 for it, you won't get a better offer this time of year.
Congratulations, another ducati in the area, itching to get out on mine.have to catch up when the weather improves.
i think your talking about the prices you'll get back from the dealer when you decide its not for you and trade it in
You will not be sorry, awesome bike mine is below done a few bling bling bits and more to go. I went for the Arrow cans, can't justify the price of the termis and they look as good IMO hope you enjoy every mile on it. As for winter riding no problem just wash it down after every ride. I will be going to the Stoke on Trent toy Run next sunday.
ok, last offer, as it will already be obsolete by the time you get it, just have it delivered straight to me, i will see if i can offload it for you.
Canary Man go for i t!!!! dont listen to the voices, except mine lol Thanks for the kind words boys, i may well put it in for the 2012 BOY.
