I e mailed ducati Italy recently thanking them for my recent factory tour, also I enquired if they knew the production numbers of the sc1000s and today I received a phone call from them informing me there were 938 sc1000s produced in total. does this make them the rarest of the sc range ?
Think so yeah, all quite rare which is good Speaking of a factory tour....is it worth it? I'm going to Mugello at the end of August and through I might drop by if time allows.
yea its interesting walking about the factory, the museum is good so bring a good cameras ( no pics in factory ) then outside there is a ducati dealer to drool in. I enjoyed the Ferrari museum as well if you have time ,once again good camera required .
Well what a bugger, Ducati museum closes for pretty much the whole of August so thats the end of that. I'll just go back another time avoiding August Maybe do the Ferrari museum or failing that laze about by the pool drinking expensive Italian wine and talking about how we'll break lap records at Mugello.....oh to dream!!!
your near imola and misano so is there any racing on ? iv been to the Ferrari museum and really enjoyed myself so def go for that one.
I read somewhere the rarest is the biposto, the dual seat version without the fairing. I had one, and sold it for £3500 back in 2008
