Brings back some memories of the Tokyo bike show a couple of years ago. There were some things for sale that caught my eye in what is quite an amazing country..... No room for any more bling on this monster Fantastic leather jacket for keeping the arm's tanned on that summer track day, or perhaps just getting rid of those unwanted tat's... Wanted one of these - but unfortunately they didn't have my size. Top marks to Yellow Corn's translation dept. And had never really considered a Hyosung before. Not sure if these are available yet in the UK, if there is in fact a market for them.
They also had some interesting engine bits, developed as a result of the "cult of monkey", spending a fortune on tuning up monkey bikes (and as the same engine is fitted to your C50 or C90 cub, you could tune up your old commuter if you wanted to). Driving along one day in traffic and a group of 25-30 tuned up monkey bikes complete with adult riders hunched over the bars, open pipes, WFO, came past, one of my more surreal motorcycling memories. Typical monkey bike, not sure if this is the best application for those shocks. Stage 1 - liquid cooling and DOHC Stage 2 - Desmoquattro your stepthrough Stage 3 - Not enough - perhaps this will fit....
The exhaust system is a Moto Corse titanium "Evoluzione". Outstanding quality but a staggering price. The complete system was around 3000 pounds. The Monster was on the Moto Corse stand and I think they had just bolted on all of the aftermarket parts they distribute. The website (motocorse.jp) is worth a look, especially if you are a Euro-Millions winner. Mr Bimble.
