Hi all, I bought my Tricolore over the winter, got offered a great trade on my RSV4 so had to go for it, always been my dream bike and worked my way up through the ranks! She has only done 500 miles and is booked in for a service next week. I have 2 trackdays booked and am off to Le Mans for the MotoGP in May, will also do a couple of BSB meets. I have done a few things to her, thanks to people on here for help and advice . List of changes: Carbon Fever: Heat shield Suspension cover Under seat section Rear air vents Key cover Other: Ducabike clear clutch over LED front blank plate indicators Oberon rear indicators Oberon bar end mirror Puig screen Renthal sprockets DID chain Comfort seat with Luimoto cover ASV levers R&G rad protectors Exact start cable kit A load of stickers... which poses a question, with or without the DUCATI on the side? Other info is I have a letter from Ducati saying my bike was first ordered by Jenson Button, doesn't mean much as he did not register it, maybe because he signed for McLaren around 2013? Nice bit of info though. For all the stockers out there gasping at what I have done to my bike don't worry, all original bits kept nice and safe and the stickers all peel off! ;-) Each to their own and all that. Here's to a dry and safe summer! Pics below day I picked her up and as she is today.
Very nice. As said as long as you like it then what others think doesn't mean anything. They're awesome bikes.
looks fantastic! are you allowed to ride without the indicators? exhaust looks like you have given it a good polish... great job
Great bikes, the best paint scheme too. So for me I'd go without the big Ducati sticker. Must get myself some Oberon mirrors and will go for Oberon bar end indicators. Are the mirror blank indicators bright/visible enough? Amazing how people sell bikes with only 500 miles on them. Bought mine with 560 on it, ridiculous. What year was it? Nice looking VW camper there too!
Ahhhhhh ok not seen those before are they Oberon ? will have a look at them tonight ... Cheers Triari
I'm very jealous as I'm the look out for a low mileage one at the moment. Looks a lovely bike, enjoy mate
