I can't really remember how much films made me laugh the first time I watched them. Borat was up there for sure.
Yep - i tend to see the funny side of most things....even in meetings at work when something goes wrong i just start laughing....even to the point of being told off....which i still find funny...most of the ones here i like...Borat is funny but more it makes you cringe than laugh....anything by the zuckers is good - showed my son (14 years old) a bit of airplane....he's practicing the Rex Kramer double sun glasses scene... thats my boy!
I can't stand Bridesmaids - and I really wanted to like it - to me it just seemed like they were trying too hard to be gross. Have we had Blazing Saddles yet? a funny (IMO) as Airplane, but with a bit more of a political edge Top Secret (with Val Kilmer) if only for the line "fortunately, I know a little German" (waves at short german on next table) Leningrad Cowboys Go America - utterly marmite, but if you watch one Finnish film about a not-very-god Siberian band breaking America, make it this one
MonsieurHulot holiday. Funniest film I havent seen it for years mind you and not sure why everything is underlined. Thats funney. Regards Steve
Life of Brian all the way, listening to the cassette before it came out on the movies in 1979. Funny as fuck, big nose.
Anything with Richard E Grant is going to get slated by me, including his greatest work... SpiceWorld.
How? The last scene would be the only one that could be said to be so, and really it's more self-aware and tragic. It's a great film, and has some fantastic dialogue, physical comedy and even some glaring continuity errors. What's not to love? SCRUBBERS!!!!!
I like the copper screaming at him and the bit at the urinal with the baby piss... Awesome. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
I am ashamed to say I found Anchorman very funny. I don't like the fact that I like it but there you go. Blazing Saddles, and Airplanes 1 & 2 are for me the pinnacle of funny films, with Animal House not far behind. Kung Fu Hustle really tickled me too. Honourable mention goes to The Road - so not funny, it subtracted the humour from dozens of other films and killed each of them stone dead.
