The Dream Of A Young Chap Come Through At A Riper Age .....

Hello all, considering the madness I am reading on this forum I am not sure how my story rates on the madness scale, but here goes, after being retired from 2 wheeled transport for a mere 20 years(mopeds, dirt bikes, honda XL 600, honda vfr 750) and spending many years on the 1 bhp, the version with four legs, I thought it a fine idea to return to a proper bike, months of investigation resulted in the new Honda crf 1000 Africa twin, yes fantastic bike,very good indeed, so good in fact that it became boring quit quickly, very boring, no real character, no exquisite parts to admire, winter comes, let's try sell it for lots of money, loaded with goodies so easily sold it was, as my dealer messed up various things, and big discount and refund where given, even a small profit was made, then ofcourse you do the sensible thing and wait with buying the next bike until spring arrives, hell no off course not, you go on e bay, see something you always dreamed of, giving you goosebumps just by thinking of the sound coming out of the termi' s, yes there it is on e bay a Ducati, a 848 streetfighter, so loaded with extra goodies, you just can't refuse, you offer money, oops the offer is accepted, so now you are the proud owner of a very very special edition of the most beautiful naked bike on the planet, and yes ducbird, of course it is red!
