Before i stick it on eBay - might anyone on here be interested??? 2011 Evo SP 1100 - Full Ducati Service History - First Owner was Ducati UK, Second was JHP its listed as Press Demonstrator on service book. They had it for 3k miles. 3rd Owner looked after it and used it well - adding 11k miles, continued with the Dealer history throughout and added the 2-1 Termi system. I have added DP Sport Seat, Carbon Chain guards, DP Steering Damper, Aprillia bar Mirrors, Evotech heel guards, a tail tidy, and a few other bits and bobs. Oh yes, it was also mapped by Chris at CJS Racing. :tonguewink: Im after £7k ovno for the complete package. Open to offers for factory bike without all the bits, but that will be in excess of £6k - just to save us all time! Im selling as I'm just not sold on it - i loved my KTM supermoto and thought this would be similar - its just not! It is a hooligan ok but not sure its for me! That said, I'm happy enough to get the summer out of it, then who knows, i might end up loving it! If you think its too much money - thats fine, we are all entitled to our opinion. Of the 3 Evo SP bikes I've seen for sale this is the cheapest and the most used. It is in very good overall condition - ok its not a mint 2k mile bike, but it is a very tidy 15k mile bike!! If its not for you, thats fine. I am only giving you first dibs at it! Pm me if of any interest.
Out of interest how does it differ with the KTM? Did you have the 690, am toying with the idea of one of these or a supermoto for everyday bike. Good luck with the sale, looks great
Thanks Lyndon - still dunno if i want to sell it ffs! She's my Marmite! KTM 640 supermoto was my previous daily/fun ride - i liked it as i could have fun and stay under 100mph. Its light, flickable, and a hoot. 690 is same but even more fun, well even easier to wheelie!! Only downside was motorway commute felt like she was revvin her nuts off - I was after something easier for distance. That meant more cc probably, thought about a 990 Superduke Hyper is similar vein - it is pure hooligan but its not a supermoto. Its heavy compared to ktm, loads of torque (too much), spins rear v easy, a little too easy but that could also be the Diablo Corsa SC being cool. IT is nice to ride, and it commutes well, OEM mirrors are a pain, as they restrict filtering, but i do like it more for the commute. Could do with more wind protection tho, as it'll go faster than the ktm. I do like it, and after a test ride on a RSV4 I'm not sure i want another sports bike for the road, tho maybe i just i don't like screaming 4s.
No, removing Hyper from sale! Had Phillip McCallen (ex Road Racer if u don't know) set up the suspension on the Hyper yesterday and OMG its night and day! Handles soooooo much better now. Clocked about 200 miles yesterday, and near 100 today! Loving it! Bike is much improved and it may now be a keeper!!
