1199 £1 A Mile!

  1. So, my 2013 1199 Tri has had its 2nd service at 574 miles which cost £571 with a couple of extra parts fitted. Rode it for 100 miles and revs/tick over went low, oil/engine warning lights - back to Ducati and new sensors fitted £175 (no labour charge)... Fingers crossed all ok now.

I love my bike (although not quite as much now) but just hoping being a Ducati owner gets a bit cheaper here on in! My Yami mates are currently enjoying taking the piss.

  2. You could ride it more and then you'd get better value per mile! [emoji23]

  3. That sounds a lot for a second service. What else did you have done?

  4. DID chain fitted, Exige HT leads and Ducabike clear clutch cover. Nothing too major. The annual service was £250 and rest was labour - 3 hours (although they said it took longer) plus VAT.

  5. Bought it over winter, season only just started.

  6. That's fair enough I guess... I'll let you off this time. Haha.
