  1. Doesn't it give you a warm and fussy feeling that they have our safety in mind :Bucktooth:

  2. You will never know how humble and content I will be knowing that the fact of me contributing to Pc Miller upgrading his 5 yr old CBR just for him pointing to the sticker on my Termis saying "Race use only"

  3. Not to say it doesn't happen, but I'm not aware of anyone being stopped with Termis on their bike. Have heard of someone who had a Racefit can being stopped, but then it was very loud! I did the IAM course with Termis (no baffles) on my previous bike & the police riders in the local group were all cool with it.

I live in the area & my Diavel will soon be having the standard cans replaced with a Remus.

  4. A few years ago me and a couple of others went down to Matlock and Officer Dibble pulled us over and had a field day,, exhausts with no kite mark, small number plates, dark visors, I had a VT750 with Swedish Raask shotguns with no baffles, needless to say I handed over some folding in exchange for a receipt

  5. They love Matlock.....or any place where loads of bikers converge, its easy pickings isnt it. The only way to get away without fines is to have the correct, road legal equipment on ya bike. I hate the 9x7 plates but when im on the bike i dont see it. My helmet has a flip-up sun visor in it so i dont bother with tinted outer ones and i like how my bikes sound with standard exhausts......that being said i pay through the nose on the speeding fines haha

  6. There are some great roads in Leicestershire with no police, speed cameras or grief

None of my bikes are 100% legal but handing over £££ to the plod isn't an agreeable option

  7. I was at Hartside Cafe last week. Officer Dibble in the Volvo was very friendly talking to everyone there and admiring the bikes.

  8. They'll be even keener after the crash at Matlock Bath last week..
Should I expect grief with my debaffled termis?

  9. Very sad for the innocent Ducati rider, death was caused by an idiot riding another bike.
Yes it will increase the police presence in my view.
Biker who died in Matlock smash named as David Crofts - Derbyshire Times

  10. I guess to some extent it would depend upon your performance on the "attitude test" and just how far over the line you have crossed.

  11. I hadn't heard the details of the crash, only he was on a yellow Ducati and died at the scene. Poor guy.
I arrived after it happened and a guy passing in a car said two guys were down.

  12. From what I've heard localy the ktm rider lost control while doing a wheelie and hit the Ducati head on, not sure how accurate it is.

  13. Christ

  14. If true, never mind :(, it deserves a death by dangerous riding charge. This is the kind of shit that gives motorcycling a bad name and is totally unacceptable.
