  8. This was for sale on eBay a month or so back, I was interested then but the seller declined my offer of £3,500 (was up at £4,250 I think). It was all disclosed then by the seller but I was a bit busy so never followed through on it. For a newly repainted bike with new SM pipes etc it seemed good value, and at @ £4,000 would still seem that (the Cat C/D - can't remember, thought it was a cat D but likely wrong) was because it was stolen recovered with bodywork and exhausts stolen. Replacing a full set of bodywork and exhausts isn't cheap and so it seemed about right. I'd be interested at @ £4,000 as I'd like a 900 and would like it to be a SL. At £5,500 though I'd want it to be without recorded black markers.

I thought he must have bought it, either not liked it or seen a quick buck to be made...

  9. I sent the seller a message on eBay asking what the reason for the cosmetic work was and he replied saying what has been said here - that the bike was stolen and recovered without plastics or exhaust. He also confirmed it was a cat c write off.
