Need to get a bike rack, clueless about bike racks. I don't want it to be a pain to fit, or damage, crack the paint on the bumper. It ideally needs to fit other cars, store easy and not cost a small fortune because I will be asked to pay towards it. Get what you pay for no doubt, but it is for very occasional use. Obviously I don't want to see my old s works run over by the car behind, has to hold 3 or 4 bikes of different size frames, shapes. Going to be an exciting morning.
Now waiting for my flight to Beijing. Have to change to another airline there which will be fun cos my ticket is in Chinese and I have no idea who the airline is.
Qualifying done, Fraser-Nash ok, Cooper Bristol head gasket gone. Slight dip in head face. 3 hours till the race. New gasket and fingers crossed? Let you know later.
Picked up the new car and straight away, the missus has worked out the MPG computer to keep an eye on me... bollocks [emoji31] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Needed to find a home for the old race fairing that I took off the NC29 so decided to spring clean the garage roof space that the builder kindly boarded and has been the repository of crap for the last 5 or 6 years. Because I live in NE Hampshire, I can no longer go to a West Berks recycling centre and of course Newbury is only 7 miles away and Wade Road in Basingstoke is 9.9 miles away. Just 1 more 10th of a mile and I'd have been given a permit for Newbury :Rage:. Got to Basingstoke with a boot load of rubbish including 3 front scrubs and a part worn set of Angel GTs only to be told "we don't take tyres here". "Excuse me, so how am I going to recycle the tyres ?" says I. "Don't give a sh*t, not here" says they. Still, made space for the fairing and the tyres can live outside in the back garden until I can find somewhere to recycle them. Time to shower and get round to Carole's for beer and qualifying . Andy
My local fitter charges £5 for tyre recycling now. No idea where he gets rid of them though. Down some local lanes, there's constantly a stack of bike and car tyres dumped by the side of the road. Fly tipping is disgusting anywhere but especially in an area a beautiful as we live in. [emoji35] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Italian day in Bristol. Met badders, kingfixer and deaks. Caught up with simont very briefly.... Enjoyed myself today. [emoji1] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Bought a classic bike. Something to spin my spanners on as my Ducati's don't need any fettling. It should also keep my in the garage and off the political threads. :Banghead:
2 races in the Cooper, with a wings and without, quickest in class in both races after total rebuild follow a 100 mph accident exiting the tunnel at Monaco last year in practice when a back marker clipped me after setting I'd set pole. Owner got a smile like a Cheshire Cat today and now its beer o'clock. A Good Day.
I dare not look at the MPG computer on my company car, it was about 20mpg last time I looked. :Nailbiting: They've just asked for it back after only 4 months, so I'm choosing to go diesel again for the 1st time in the last couple of years. I once had a Sierra Cosworth with 350BHP that got 8mpg.
