So what have you done today..?

  1. 1953 Formula 2 car which the then owner concerted to a 1.5 seater so he could race as a sports car. 155bhp, drum brakes, 580kg, road legal though noisy, no MOT, no licence fee and about enough space in the passenger side to fit a 6 pack. What's not to like! Half a litre a minute fuel consumption....

  4. The ERA I used to race did 2.4 mpg on pure methanol. A gallon a lap in 90 secs round Goodwood. Much of it sideways.

  10. Arrived safe and sound in Tengchong. Was met at the airport by the local mayors staff who are now looking after me till the mayor turns up. This is no hardship as two of them are very attractive twenty something girls who speak English.

We've already been for lunch and now we're at the hotel waiting for Mr Fu the mayor (I shit you not, he is called Mr Fu and he looks and dresses like the bloke that sang Gangnam Style) :p

  13. As i said doing a sunday morning overtime run....work upstairs on the 1st floor in our office and i shit you not its like a racetrack on the A4174 this morning. My window kind of overlooks the road (loads of trees in the way) but the noise of bikes mixed in with high end sports cars is lovely!!

  18. I found this - Recall Number: CR110

"Ducati has recalled nearly 6,000 of its “four-in-one” motorcycles, the Multistrada 1200, for possible throttle issues. The recall includes all 2010-2014 models – the Standard, S, Pikes Peak and Gran Turismo.

Ducati says due the inner sleeve of the throttle-opening (upper) cable could become disengaged and prevent the throttle from fully closing. If this occurs, the rider may lose control and crash."
    Anybody had it seen to?
