  1. I've never heard of anything like a 'twang' before, especially from inside a motor. I wonder if it's thrown a belt?

  2. Hope not... maybe it has an aussie piston in it...

  3. Fingers crossed nothing too nasty/costly!

  9. That's what made me think it may be a belt. Twang, one pot then dead.

I'd be tempted not to even look at it until I heard back from the dealer myself. Stu hasn't used it so the mileage will be exactly the same as when he bought it a few weeks ago.

  10. Just OEM serviced by Moto Rapido before pick up :smileys:

  11. Bad news and feel your pain, but this is why some people are happy buying new bikes, that ride better, come with a nice warranty and don't care about the depreciation.
    Hope its nothing too serious.

  12. Exactly what I thought :upyeah: pity they are so far away!

  13. dealer will sort it out, they would not like to damage their reputation about something like this surely, free pick up, sort the problem and return the bike with a nice voucher for some goodies me thinks!

  14. Coo, I need to use your dealer in future.
