Hi, Just picked up my new to me 2013 MTS. just setting up the man cave / garage but can't work out where the Ducati Charger plugs in to keep the battery topped up? i was told that the Ducati branded charger plugged directly into the diagnostic port but i can't for the life of me find it.... sorry for the Newbe question. i fear there will be more so please bare with me!! Thank you both.. i was expecting to a 2 pin plug to put the ducati charger into rather than a 4 pin diagnostic? maybe i am showing my lack of technical skills already!?

hummm... ok so this is the charger... with connection and i thought it would connect to the port located under the seat But under the cover its like this and not compatible... and under the seat looks like this... i guess i am missing something really simple... an adaptor on the end of the charger to connect to the bike? ps. sorry for pants photos. its dark in the garage now!
You need another lead on the end of your Optimate, it should have come in the box. They sell them on eBay fo ra few quid.
You should have a lead that connects to the male and female of the charger and that then plugs into the diagnostic port. I've the same charger as you and it came with a selection of leads. I have uploaded a shot of where the connection point is and what the lead looks like when connected.
