Newbie ( this time round) O.K. Here we go, I passed my test in 1957 on a G/R Ariel 350, since then I have owned about 100 bikes, currently own a Triumph Speed Triple, Ducati 750 super sport, Yamaha TDM, Honda 500XBR and a 1949 Royal Enfield Model G. I am still as much in love with bikes as I ever was. Bought my first Ducati new off Tony Rutter when he was a Ducati dealer, a 900ss bevel since then have owned a 250cc race bike, 600 Pantah, 900ss belt, 906 Paso and a 350scr. that will do for now!!

I had to do an emergency stop twice. The tester said to go round the block and he'd jump out from behind a tree. He jumped out miles away, so I pulled smoothly to a halt. No, he said, you have to stop as quick as you can can - go round again! So next time I literally skidded to a halt and that was fine.
