Had it serviced / ecu optimising, smooth running now as it suppose to be! Very happy. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk

Sexy bikes and an sweet tuning by biggelaar . My bike is currently under maintenance, destroyed the crankhaft and connection-rods because the bearings failed on me . Expensive joke :/. Bike's supposed to be back this friday. Can't wait to ride it again and make the frontwheel face the sky ^^.
What caused that mate? Was led to believe the SFS had the 1198 crank cases which solved the bearing issue on the 1098
That is correct. I don't know how it happened, was speeding and suddenly my from around my clutch it started to make a very loud and weird noise. straight after that power was gone and the bike shut down. Result not starting anymore. When i drained the bike's fluids there was a bronze/brass material in it so i knew trouble. Ducati mechanic told me the bearings of the crank broke/got worn out as result my bike's been taken on the 10th of februari for service and the crank has still not been fixed. It's killing me, beautiful weather and a lot of events which i want to participate in.. taking my dad his bmw 1200 GS adventure out isn't as much fun as the streetfighter but many of you can relate to that Can any of you tell me what a crank fix would normally cost and what time period is average for the work? Cheers
Haha yup, fully tuned 1098R engine in a SF . Last dyno run (after the instal) gave 192.2 bhp on the rear tire with 143 nm of torque if i was correct.
really time for Ducati to design and produce a new streetfighter, still best looking naked ever made!
Thanks @Hammer I had the 848 version since 2012 just traded it in for the 1098, the smaller bike was loads of fun, I've got the 1199s to and since I had that found the 848 a little under powered.
