What can i do to lower the height on my hypermotard 939 SP 2017, except buying a lower seat ? Thanks for answers
I usually have the opposite problem with bikes as I'm over 6ft but I know quite a few short folk so have seen it done a few times (not on this bike though). Have a look at how to do it properly: '16 939SP Suspension Lowering Project - Ducati.ms - The Ultimate Ducati Forum or how to do it easily: Ducati Hypermotard Lowering Links Just remember that you need to retain the bikes stock geometry as best you can to avoid it handling like a pile of poo. Hope the links help!
Thank you for the reply! Its not a big problem, can get my toes to the ground when i stop. 5.8 feet high. But i guess ill get used to it.
Lol. I'm the same height as you. Scared the hell out of me to start with so I bought some of the Daytona boots with the hidden high sole once I got used to the bike I rarely use them. It's just a case of building confidence and learning to do the supermoto shuffle at the lights.
Hahahahaha, I have a 30" inseam and with the mods I did to the seat and the suspension, it's actually not that bad now. Adding the CNC Racing rearsets got the peg heights back up....but installing those is a whole other story in itself.
