Why isnt Townsend on that list? Responsible for many a great riff. Or even Entwistle for that outrageous My Generation Riff. Paah, naff list. Gary Moore? Is that you Clarkson?

Fully agree with you there.. wasn't it he had a faithful guitar called Lucile or similar that he went back into a house fire for.. I saw him with u2 live on the Rattle and Hum tour, amazing guy who you could see simply luved what he did...
