  1. End of a good first week culminated in putting in my first invoice. Great role, great company, great rate.

  2. Last day at the Circuito de Almeria today. My body has definitely had enough, 3 days on track is very physically demanding for an old man but we have had 3 fabulous days. Clear blue skies and mid to high 20s (centigrade) every day, good track conditions and a good crowd of mixed ability riders. Fairly broad mix of bikes, Gixxers of most capacities, Hondas, R1Ms, Triumphs, Beemers, Aprillias, KTMs, a 916, a 1299 (base) and my 1098R. For me it's not about times and it's unfair to compare my 853 with the 1098R but I was 15 seconds quicker than last year and 8 seconds quicker on day 3 than on day 1, so you can say that I am somewhat chuffed. We lost 2 riders to minor but debilitating injury and a couple of no injury crashes where the bikes were beyond repair but on the whole pretty red flag free. I have left Carole partying with a few hardier souls but it's lights out for me. Andy

  4. Met a new member of staff who's middle name is...ahem........................."Kawasaki" :grinning:

He's not Japanese, just a big fan of the brand. It cost him £40 to change by deed poll apparently.

  16. Had a run out to test my new Drift Stealth 2 camera, testing fitting angle mainly, well impressed with the quality of the video but not so impressed with my clumsy computer skills, deleted the lot, silly boy.
Another run tomorrow as the fitted angle wants lifting slightly.
