One for the conspiracy theorists

  1. Yes, next question.

  2. I expect a bit of both went on

Not much is ever what it seems

  3. Sarah says that about me. I think she was being nasty thou

  4. Got to say that the bit where the cross hairs are behind the subject are a bit hard to explain I would have thought. Weird shit man.

    Regards Steve

  5. Not really as it's all about lighting, resolution of the images, printing the negative, etc.
It's been covered before and the link below is one of the best explanations for a lot of the "evidence" often touted.
You should read those few paragraphs and then come back and tell us if you still believe it's a conspiracy!
The Apollo Moon Hoax: What’s Up with All Those Crosshairs? – Disappearing, Not Centered, and Tilted « Exposing PseudoAstronomy
or even the stuff on Wikipedia which covers a wide range of the "evidence":
Examination of Apollo Moon photographs - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Secondly, you know that there have been pictures taken from lunar probes showing the moon landing debris (including the lunar rover) that got left behind on the moon, right? Or maybe these were faked too?
BBC News - Probe pictures Moon landing sites

  6. To be honest i am not reet arsed as to whether the yanks landed on the moon or not. After watching "finding bigfoot" for 12 episodes i must say i was left disappointed at the end. LOL
I get in trouble with the girlfriend over stuff like this. Episode one of Finding Bigfoot and within 30 seconds she has to tell me that they won't find it. I tell her to shush and watch on regardless lol.

  7. Yea they never landed on the moon, same as bush flew an RC plane into the twin towers and there's little green men @ Area 51

  8. I dunno...As time moves on, I think it more and more unlikely they went, the footage and technology looks very Wallace and Grommet by today's standards...

  9. It was 1969 dude

  10. Hmmmm...

  11. I watched the Apollo 11 moon landing live on a small black and white TV. Woken up really early in the morning by parents specifically to witness a moment in history

I remember James Burke demonstrating what was going on using plastic models of the LEM and CSM whilst Patrick Moore looked at him as if he was a complete plonker. Raymond Baxter also involved, possibly live from the lunar surface in a checked suit with large lapels.

And if Patrick Moore says they went, they went! The monocled one was no bullshitter.

And if you still don't believe it Buzz will be round to give you a slap (he's done it before!)

Whatever happened they had ample testicular mass to go, and if it was a hoax, you would need similar testicular mass to repeat the hoax a further five times and expect to get away with it - beep - over...

  12. Good point, well made :upyeah:

  13. When I was at college hundreds of years ago, there was a German lab technician who used to work with Werner Von Braun (the Germen rocket specialist). After WW2 he was 'employed' by the USA before he came to the UK.

Through his previous employers he was sent a piece of 'moon rock' to evaluate............In his opinion, it was nothing different to what could have been found on Earth.

    Just sayin', like.

  14. The Moon used to be part of the earth. It's made up of the same matter that our 'crust' is made out of which is why it doesnt have a molten core.

    Just sayin' like

  15. The Truth is Out There

    Another Carless Mistake from NASA

Just way too many things wrong with this picture - notice the absence of stars again - the arrows indicate the various directions in which shawdows are falling, again showing evidence of inconsistent scene illumination - yet there is something even more obviously wrong with this picture *the length of the lower support column of the lunar lander was 4 feet tall this would indicate the astronaut was over 8 feet tall which non of them were
moonlanding05.jpg tooJust way too many things wrong with this

  16. It is almost insulting to think that NASA could get away with this obvious howler! Oh yes NASA its all very well adding stars on this picture just to make us realize how wrong we have been. We are not fooled so easily. If we look a bit more closely we spot the constellation of Pegasus with the Planet Saturn (Marked S1) clearly visable in the top left corner/ Yet at the time of the mission although Saturn appeared to be near Pegasus FROM EARTH from the moon it would have appeared to be in a completely different position marked (S2)

  17. It doesn't matter

  18. My point being that moon rock is made from the same stuff as the rocks on earth

  19. I didn't miss your point, but you missed my 'matter' aside......

.......but........you have almost made my previous point......If the moon rock is the same rock as wot is on Earth, how do we know it is actually moon rock, unless it has 'MOON' all the way through it?
