Tonight for my finest delicacy, I will be trying the finest offering from Morrisson's, an onion bhaji pizza Tomorrow I fully expect to be Johnny Cash
This morning I will be taking the Panigale to the transport company that's shipping it and my luggage to Italy for next weeks jaunt to Northern Italy, which will take in a trip to the Ducati Factory and the MotoGP in Mugello.
Fixed my 100yr old ex work laptop that I use for the garage. Re-installed xp and all its drivers. Took a whole goddamned evening. I'd forgotten how long it took. Plus I had to 'manually' install new drivers for things. Whats that all about? My macs sort themsleves out. Anyways it works, connects to wireless and hopefully will allow DucatiDiag to connect. If it doesnt, then it will be ritually beaten to death with my club hammer.
Ordinarily I would have done but this is arranged and taking the place of the DMC Scottish trip this year. We were so fed up of getting piss wet through every year we decided to do Italy this time. At least if it rains it'll be warm. Oh and we get to see the MotoGP too
Got air on FWD 'car' over little hump-back bridge at around 5 am this morning. Last time I did this (same bridge) approx 40 years ago - got full air on a RWD, this time I blame Deadmaus.
Yesterday I took the outlaws to http://www.millerandcarter.co.uk/restaurants/south-east/millerandcarterchertsey/chefs-specials-menu Great diet.... I lost nearly 250 pounds!
Nothing today as such but just got a call from my mate who has scored VIP paddock pass tickets for WSBK on saturday in the Aprillia paddock!!! Apparently his mate's company sprayed up the lorries that carry the Aprilia WSBK team - hence the tickets. Ill be taking an SLR so if im allowed to photograph stuff i will be like a champ and putting it up....ive got a mate that blags shit like this so this is first for me...
Rebuilt M4 calipers finally arrived (thanks Brembo, 3 months to send new pistons !) so spent most of the morning refitting them to Carole's Diavel along with some very blingy Probolt stainless steel caliper bolts. Took nearly a full 250ml bottle of fliud to flush out the red rubber grease used to install the pistons. Bleed pipe looked like a 70s lava lamp with little globules of red goop. Time for a bite to eat and then take the Multistrada out for the afternoon. Andy
Just had an e-mail from Halfords, all their socket sets are half price on the internet. Not sure for how long though. Andy
In addition to taking the Panigale to the transport company for it's jollies to Italy I got my ticket for the MotoGP at Mugello too
Take a mini spade if you are sittnng on one of the banks, you will see what I mean when you get there and if you are riding in the hills, you will love it
