So what have you done today..?

  1. I sometimes take my Echo Dot over to my Mum so she can ask Alexa to play music she wants to hear and sometimes a few other things. At 89 yrs she's beyond the right time to master anything new due to dementia but it may be worth trying out with your father if he's at an early stage. Just leave a note with Ask "ALEXA" written as a reminder. Routine and good diet seems to help a bit. Downsizing to a new property was, and still is a source of confusion. Good luck with your father.

  2. Ah the chap with two porsches has a shopping run car as well...

  3. Going to eat my dinner, put some clean pants on and take the 998 out, if it's not raining. I've given it a once over since I took it out and it started making noises... Good excuse to ride out to Jack Hills tonight. Finger crossed it's all good.

  4. Finished work early and loaded the bike ready for the run up to Haysham for the IOM ferry tomorrow.

  12. I went on a blind date this lunchtime.

She said to me, "So tell me then, are you a vampire?"

"No," I said, with a puzzled look on my face.

"So you can see your reflection, and you still come out looking like that?"

  14. Well I've done about 300 miles around the Italian mountains and countryside in Tuscany and Umbria. I'm knackered.

Thankfully no casualties today though we have lost 3 riders who took a wrong turn around 5pm and as at 10pm they still hadn't got back to the hotel. Latest news was that they should be back for 11pm. :D

  17. 300 miles of hairpins, switchbacks, bumps etc .........all in 30C plus, in full leathers. Plus petrol stations that are few and far between. And because it was a national holiday yesterday they were unmanned and the automatic dispensers were hit and miss as to whether they worked. And in two stations we tried to use they didn't, and we were all on the fumes

It was an interesting day that's for sure :)

Ps our intrepid explorers arrived back at 10.45pm :)

  20. Yesterday I become a very proud husband as Mrs M successfully passed her Module 2 test. About bloody time too, its only taken me 8 years to get her to this point! Now she's learnt to pass her test she can start to learn to ride and the fun times roll... :D

Lovely gesture from my lovely wife too when she presented me with a nice present for being so patient and 'putting up with her' bless her...
