Looks like he got hit by debris from the bike in front and bailed at the last minute. Nasty. Any idea how the rider is ? Andy

He was hit by the belly pan that detached itself from the taped-together (in the pic) bike and was out cold when he overtook the cam rider so was out before the crash. Not sure who I feel worse for: the poor bugger who's bike was destroyed or the cam rider being overtaken by a bike with its rider unconscious
And which track day organiser allowed a bike with a belly pan gaffer taped back together out on track ? Andy

Shocking footage & the bike rider who caused it should face been banned from circuits for such lazy fixes. The whole bike looks covered in gaffa tape then sprayed!
Frightening. He's very lucky, although he won't feel like it right now. I once hit a small sparrow type bird at about 80mph and it nearly had me off, the force was unbelieveable.
I'm not surprised he's a lot pissed off. Event organisers need bringing to rights and the duct tape bodger banning from use of UK tracks! Absolutely disgraceful that the bike was allowed and taken on track in such a poor state of repair. Could have quite easily resulted in a family loosing their loved Dad/Partner/Son...
Crazy vid this. Has anyone seen further detail from the guy who's bike fell apart? I heard he's being defended by his mates but the bike looks like a heap that's falling to bits in the video. Could have been so much worse.
