I'd like to see David Weir up there or Ellie Simmonds personally

At least this year there are some worthy names.To be honest,you couldnt argue against most of them.

I'd go with Chris Hoy.

Most of that list still have a chance to better their careers. What Wiggins did was quite remarkable, but he's got quite a team around him too, but he doesn't exactly come across as the best "personality".

Chris Hoy is at the end of his career, has accomplished some incredible feats, and this year has helped bring on several young cyclists (that were part of the Gold winning cycling team) that should be future stars themselves. Plus he comes across as a genuinely nice bloke.

 

When was the last time the winner had a personality? I know the clue is in the title but 'personality' doesn't really appear to have come into it in recent years.

Like to see Mo Farah get it, but think it'll be Jessica Ennis

 

Ive had a think and if it was up to me Jess Ennis would get it.Fnar fnar.

 

All are worthy contenders, but the winner has to be Wiggins. I was at Wembley when we won three athletics golds, the most amazing evening, but I would still vote for BW.
