Cool, we rode from Kirton Lindsey to South Leverton, then along to East Kirkby just in time to see the Spitfire fly over and then rode back home as the sun went down. Gave the SS a good larruping, and she still puts such a smile on my face. Corner speed a go go. Lovely steady flowing ride over the tops, and lots of grip to be found. Ace.
@Ben Mallinson I'm in Barton tomorrow afternoon until about 5:30 but will be on the bike so will head down to Bardney from there. Shame I'm not at home, you'd be more than welcome to drop in. I'll be getting fuel at Tesco Market Rasen. Could attempt to meet you there, otherwise see you at the event?
Great seeing you for a catch up and your new toy is absolutely stunning mate! I guess you carried on straight over the circle in Gainsborough? I did pulled over for a couple of minutes just and then crawled through the rest of Gainsborough in case you'd got stuck at the lights... Think I mist have missed you peeling off and heading home though Hopefully catch up again soon!
Hey Chris, sounds like a plan mate, we were thinking of setting off from here about half 4 ish... Will be a steady ride for us as ill have the eldest on the back and obviously Mrs M in attendance too... If you don't mind a bit slower pace we could delay a little and meet up at Tesco station for fuel and ride to from with you mate... Let me know what you fancy pal

Spot on sounds a good idea @Ben Mallinson I seem to remember you saying you have the Termis on yours? Out of interest do you run the baffles? I'm after a set and found some minus baffles, assuming they are not silly 'loud' i'm going to 'invest' I picked up a set of standard black cans, to be fair look great, the sound is not quite there though! Will have to have a listen tonight
I actually have a set of Zards on the 1198 which to my ears sound even better than termi's More than welcome to have a listen to them mate... Mrs M is running Leo Vince on her monster which I have to admit I am also very impressed with. Looking forward to tonight

Hi Ben, Hope you got back safely. I saw you turn around at Caistor top and went back to make sure all was well, but you'd headed off. Great to meet up and I hope Mrs M enjoyed the road back. A bit less technical than the road in. But it's all good experience. Shame we didn't manage to meet up with anyone else, although there were a good number of Duc's in the car park at Bardney Fire Station. Thanks for the cuppas - my turn next time. Hi Chris, We thoroughly enjoyed it and had a great night Mrs M says she enjoyed all of the roads, just feeling a little frustrated with herself as she road much more fluid last night and tonight didn't feel as good to her... All part of the learning curve as we know and as you say all good experience for her too Was great catching up again mate, your more than welcome to the cuppa's too. Caistor top was a bit of a miss understanding as I said to Helen that you would turn off the road home and she would know where she was so just continue to brigg. So she thought you were turning to go home and she was heading down to go through caistor market place my fault really for not making it clear haha... Helen also says thank you for your patience and riding steadily for her too, your a gentleman. Morning All! I'm due back home late tomorrow evening for another couple of weeks R&R (read battling through the S**t list of jobs to get through back home!) Priority job is getting a couple of bits of tinkering done on the 1198 which need doing before I can get back out on it... Wednesday morning will hopefully see those done though So what has everyone got planned for the next couple of weeks? I see the Lincolnshire bike night is @ East Halton on Wednesday so having a ride out to that is an option for a catch up if anyone is interested?? It is also the East Yorkshire DOC meet at Squires on Wednesday which is also another option, I may be pushing it for time to be able to make it out to this one though unfortunately. If anyone is up for East Halton the we could maybe meet up at Brigg BP Station and then take a ride out there across Bonby top, Barton, Barrow etc... @greencat @Rebel any plans??
Took my 749 out, for little run yesterday, cant believe how you forget how to ride sportbike it almost riding from scratch again... Not out at all this week am on 08:00-20:00 shift... Look like am at Sharnbrook hotel on the Sunday
Could do East Halton but like I said I don't finish work 20:00 and its only 5 mins from work... Am on my bike all week, having the car checked over, rear brakes binding more than they should... @Ben Mallinson where are all the other Lincolnshire member/s they're not very active or as active as you...
Hi Nathan, Will let you know on here what we decide to do on Wednesday then which will largely depend on how I get on with the few little bits I need to get done on the 1198... That Sharnbrook do looks good and would be a nice run down that way, unfortunately Sundays often proved difficult for me to get out though with Mrs M normally being at work Sunday afternoons and the 'Ankle Biters' needs requiring attending to Not sure where all the other Lincolnshire folk are though, it does seem to have gone a little quiet on this thread recently! I'm sure Chris will be along soon enough though with me tagging him in the post earlier this morning @Gp80 @Fire3500 @higgy748 @cleedubber @Coffey Any of you about on Wednesday or have plans for a ride out over the next few weeks?
