  1. This is not correct.

False assertions of this kind can only confuse and mislead people. Sadly the world is full of quacks who lie to sufferers.

  3. I whole-heartedly ignore posts on FB and media stating what 'kills' cancer,in fact I get really pissed off with it.I think the only thing I tend to agree with is the use of cannabis oil.
But you're right Pete, too many quacks out there.

  4. It makes my blood boil when I read of so many charlatans peddling their useless pills.potions and cures to those people who are suffering and are vulnerable to find that miracle cure.
If I ever see anything being promoted as 'A miracle cure', I will do my best to point out the facts to people that might get sucked in,those recently diagnosed are especially vulnerable.I hasten to add I only pass comment on something I have extensive knowledge of,being a victim in the past of 'Snake oil promises'.

  5. I can only speak from my own experience and from what i researched myself, but cancer can only thrive i a given ph range, as like most people i only looked into it when it happend to me. my tumor was 60mm and was i was told one of the most aggresive types, i thought cancer was cancer. now the convetional treatments ie chemo and radio don't work on kindney cancer, because i was on blood thinners i had to wait 3months to have the kidney removed. so i tried the snake oil as somone put it and the alkaline diet, to my mind what did i have to lose? in that time the tumor stayed contained in the kidney and didn't get any bigger, the surgeon who did the opp said i was a very lucky man. so who knows?.
As for the cannabis oil i would say there is somthing in it because to my mind every plant grows for a reason, but the amounts you need you are going to need very deep pockets!

  7. David,my lump in my breast was so big even eight chemo sessions could just about get it down to an operable size, even now they cannot tell me if it'll return.I also had my lymph nodes removed plus radiation.
Yes,cannabis oil for me is not an option, although it is the only thing I believe that could really help.I have very little money as it is,and there could be too many unscrupulous people out there selling it. The time I have got left on this earth (however long that is) I intend to take every day at a time and enjoy every day.I love my food....I don't eat stupidly though, but constraints of diets and the like,I have no time for.I watch what I eat and also have treats as well, don't really drink much alcohol, but never have and I've never smoked either.
I'm a bit of a believer that cancer is one of those diseases that you might get or you might not,and although there are ways to prevent it (to a certain extent)it's the luck of the draw.....but that's just my opinion.
I'm chuffed to bits that it worked for you,and I wish you all the very best :):upyeah:

  9. My mum had a mastectomy 4yrs ago also lymph nodes removed, she is now 82 and just finnishing chemo as her's returned in here lung. hope you get through this and get back to normal, whatever that is.

  10. Aww bless her, that is so sad. My mum also had the very same op as me and died 17 years ago when it spread through her bones,so I also get haunted by that.

  11. Whilst i was waiting for my opp i was on the net all the time, stats say in the 70,s the rate was 1 in 20 people got cancer, now from what i read the rate is approaching 1 in 2??. i had my first scan 5wks ago and have to see my surgeon on the 5th of july, so im working or hoping no news is good news!!

  13. "... every plant grows for a reason"! This is nonsense on stilts, sheer credulous, superstitious nonsense. May I say that I am horrified and upset that my thread about the realities of cancer has now been hijacked by this trolling, fantasising moron. @El Toro - reluctantly I have to ask you to block this thread please before it gets worse.
