That didn't take long. 1600 miles and the reg-rec appears to have failed. Battery at ca. 11v on running though it'll charge on an optimate. Cambs Ducati to pick it up next week.
You'd have thought they had sorted that out ages ago! Had it on a 748 and 1098 but looks like it's possibly still an issue all these years later!
mine did that and it turned out to be a loose battery connection, the vibes worked it loose coz the dealer hadnt tightened it up to the correct torq
Interesting - I'll check that myself. The bike is less than 10 months old, only has ca. 1600 miles on it.
if you remove the batter cover, behind the back wheel, the positive terminal has a long screw which sticks up through the fuse box which is sat on the battery. if this is loose then thats your problem. mine went a stage further and kept cutting out due to the ecu losing power. ironically mine had done around 1600 miles at that point!
