Hello from forest of dean,could anybody tell me what type of lettering should be on a1997 750ss engine number ,should it be the matrix dot type or just normal letters and numbers many thanks
Is your concern that the cases might not be original ? If you have the engine and vin numbers, send an e-mail to contact_us@ ducati.com and a very nice lady will tell you if those are the numbers the bike came out of the factory with. Andy
My recollection is definitely dot matrix on the frame but I think ordinary font on the engine but I expect @Arquebus will be able to tell you
