I'm in inters, will be steady for the first few laps as it's my first time at Silverstone. Hopefully get following someone to work out the correct lines.
Was going to come over. Got home. Bike straight out. Wife says 'what you doing?' I says 'you said be out, you're mates coming'. 'No' she says, 'you're cooking so make dinner then do what you like after' Guess I'll give the ride a miss then
I'm in inters on my Xerox 999, scrubbing in my brand new supercorsas the first session.only in the dry as I won't be going out otherwise.
Just opened my e-mail from CSS, 102bd ride by takes precedance over 105bd static, non road legal exhausts must have baffles fitted; no baffles, no ride. This is Silverstone we're going to right, in the middle of nowhere ? Lucky I bought mine as I've only just opened the e-mail and I'm here. Gonna be a awful lot of disappointed people. Andy
Can't believe they have only just sent that email late today to tell us! I've left my baffles in work and have no way of getting them now!!
102db drive by is reasonably loud, most TDs seem to be 102 static. I'd imagine (hope) most will be OK unless running short cut SC-Project and the such like. Does seem a little poor sending at 4pm the day before. Maybe someone found it in their outbox.
I wouldn't be worried Adam, there will be a lot louder bikes than yours there, if that's the case there will only be a few bikes on the track.
Early start in the morning and fingers crossed it stays dry. I'll be another one wobbling round on my Multi. Looking forward to it!
I'll be on either of the 748's - red in reserve for if it rains or the yella bugger plays up on me. As long as it doesn't snow we should be sorted
Help!!! Any of you guys taking small tools (no sniggering) and know how to remove a tail tidy from a 1098?? I got half way up the a34 and mine fell off ish and is now taped up!! No way they'll let me I'm as it is and I've no tools with me (duh!!!(
I have a rucksack with the basics. Spanner set, hex keys etc. Lots of cable ties . I imagine most of the pro TD boys will have plenty. You are welcome to use what I got.
