  1. @Android853sp remember my rucksack was undone on arrival? Turns out was a pair of converse that exited! Amazingly both too!

  5. Had a great day today, nice to meet some off here face to face at last. The crash happened right in front of me, some idiot came up on the inside and had no where to go and took out a panigale another ended up in the gravel trying to avoid it, i managed to slam the anchors on and miss the bikes but i thought i was going to run into the idiot but he kept on rolling and i missed him.
    i think the 999 needs looking at by Louigi moto, i was really struggling when trying change down the box i coudnt get a gear sometimes so i called it a day early.

  6. Did you touch someone...:worried:

  7. I saw the aftermath of the 3 bike pile up in the intermediate group. Went by as 2 of them were laid in the gravel. Not an ideal place for overtaking there, fast corner where everyone cuts close to the kerb, no room for anyone up the inside.

  9. It all unfolded about 20m in front of me :(

    Someone dived up the inside at the approach to the apex of the bend; the rider in front closed the gap and there was a pretty brutal collision. The 3rd guy in the gravel did a pretty good job of avoiding the bikes on the floor . All round not good and demonmstrated graphically why in a mixed ability group diving up the inside on a closing is not a good tactic.

  10. Great to meet up with some old faces and meet some new. Have to say was a little disappointed with the standard of quite a few of the riders today. Lots of very quick bikes in a straight line but then it seemed that their brakes jammed on half way down the straights and their throttles stuck closed round the bends. Really don't know what possessed the twat to lunge at the right hander at Club, it was the out lap ffs and caused the only red flag of the day. Heard one of the guys he took out was a mate and overheard a conversation that was bemoaning the fact that he still owed £9k on the Panigale that now had a serious case of gravel rash. I did enjoy my day if I was a little frustrated but the 1098R was flawless. Got a static test without baffles in the afternoon and blew 105db at 5000rpm so just on the limit. Hope all enjoyed their day and got/get home safely. Andy

  11. It was the out lap and at the one time when it was drizzling a fair amount!! If there was a time to go steady today that was it! Really enjoyed my day, soon got used to the track after never being there before. Managed a fair amount of overtaking bigger bikes too, despite me being on an 899. I also noticed how many seemed so steady coming off the straights and through the bends.

  12. Had a fantastic day,sorry to hear about the crash . The guy on the Superleggrea was super quick and Steve Plater made it look so simple.

  16. Great day despite the weather trying its hardest to rain. Good to meet up and be with some pals. Track always pleases with its mix of fast corners and straights. Shame about the incident.

    I agree with previous statement though that there was some shocking riding that wasn't fit for roads never mind tracks! Shame the CSS guys don't practice what they state and police thengroups more effectively

  18. @Nelson apparently I ran someone off the track with a dodgy over take while battling with 2 pani's.. funny as there were only 3 of us out at the time!! But the instructor pulled me in a gave me a bollocking cos it was one of there hire bikes that I pushed off..... apparently!!

    But yes not very well organised today shame really as all the people I met today have been great. Should have been a chrono day!! Get people in the right groups!! Aaaggghhh rant over.

  19. Warm up laps....enough said :sleeping::joy:
