  7. He said he had 7 offers of £1000/£1100, i had a look at the headstock and you can see the bracket that is welded on which holds the headlight shell has been snapped off,

    I must do some research as was genuinely thinking about buying it.
    Guess I'm a 4LO bloke at heart although I'm also tempted by a sorted hybrid if there is such a thing !

  20. Yes, I saw that. I've got a couple of 4LO 350's and a TDR and been on that forum for a while now. Whilst there's loads of good advice there's a definite clique of members who buy the good stuff and talk up other members bikes when they come up for sale.
    I put a wanted ad up a while back for a valve and got offered something I would have bought. Arranged to buy it and pick it up but all of a sudden it was sold on a Gumtree ad which was bollocks. Another forum member in the clique had obviously seen what I was offered and bought it by pm.
    That N1 was the right money at 4K ( well 3.5 when you sell the Allspeeds ) but no more despite everyone saying what a bargain it was.
    Far too many in it for the money now and not the bikes it's a real shame.
