  1. Obviously not :)

  2. I was wondering if it was a little miniature robot fly with a spy cam the wife was using to check my porn tastes and preferences.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  3. If she doesn't know them by now your doing something wrong, or right but with someone else

  4. Dusted this off, still no decision on whether to keep it or sell it but either way it didn't make sense for it to be covered in cobwebs.

Still looks pretty to my eyes.

  5. The eternal dilemma "If i sell, will i regret?"

  6. Do you know, I don't think I would. I love looking at it and cleaning it these days more than riding it, I'm turning into a bimbling sort of rider in my old age. It's a saucy old trout but perhaps a bit focused for my needs. A good offer would likely snaffle it up. :)

  7. Just keep going, Wales is not that big lol, there will always be a point or a sign which you will recognise, I did it without a satnav, only worry some times is finding a petrol station in time, even me being captain slow, still manage to burn all the petrol in record time on the streetfighter.

  8. Mate that looks sweet , with the 98-99 4xv prices getting stupid the 5jj's will start to bring good money too , the 5jj has a lovely motor with the extra midrange .
I'd love to own a standard one but no room and no money

  9. Cut the grass. Watered the allotment. Failed again on that bolt, drilled a bit more, hammered a torn bit it, failed again - 4-nil down now. Tried the bolts I had from my K5 callipers, didn't fit, so went looking for some other ones I had in my box of track kit (incl nearly new warmers) and found that the cover had come off and its not as water proof seal as I thought (its stored in a stack with spares outside the back of the shed) and were 1/2 full of water.

F*ck bikes. F*ck the lot. Had about enough of it all.

  10. Yeah, it's a great bike. Pretty full on and quite a bit of character... you just have to be pressing on so much, the Scrambler is definitely more fun and on the bumpy lanes around here I'd dare to say that it's quicker point-to-point. As much as I can sit and admire the R1 with a cuppa in hand for a good long while, I think I might be coming out of the other side of the sports bike fascination a bit. Scrambler key is usually the first one I root for when I fancy a bit of fun.

  11. I know what you mean mate , if the roads were more But roads round here is think about a hypermotard 796

  12. If you take the fork out the bike, then take the 1 bolt out will the caliper spin on the knackered bolt? Or are there lugs to stop it rotating in that plane? Just thinking it may help loosen it. Have you tried some de-grip type spray? Or sone heat? Take it to an engineering firm?

  13. Three weeks on, it's only 7am in the morning, and still it goes on. I yearn to deal with normal people and not space cadets.
