If its gone down to your chest, yes two weeks at least ,three till you are 100%. Beechams Powders with honey and by the way man up:tongue: Ah no, you do have my sympathy and I hope you can shke off the worst of it quickly.
Stay in bed with a good book. Alternate sleep and reading. There really isn't anything else to do apart from wait. Mine's almost gone now (defo on the way out).
Kind of doing that..........iPad and sofa with a bit of crap TV thrown in for good measure. The stuffiness and aching limbs I can deal with, it's just the constant banging headache that's really pissing me off. And my eyes are tired. Bet I look lush
What would happen if a woman got Man Flu? The way my mrs acts when she has a cold, I think Man Flu would finish her off!
To get any sympathy in this house one either has to be bleeding to death or ablaze. A few years ago the wife had Acute Myeloid Leukeamia, lots of chemo and an autologous bone marrow transplant. And there was no whinging, whining or feeling sorry for herself during almost two years of horrendous treatment. Consequently, all illnesses that are not threatening imminent danger of death are regarded as minor sniffles and much woe doth betide me if I ever start complaining.
Tried that. With nipper no.2 on the way she's had a flu jab. That seems to be protecting her at the moment!
Where do I get it! I've felt very nauseous for a few days, but now I'm starting with the whole aching body thing and I'm freezing cold all the time....I went to bed with all my clothes on yesterday...that's something normally reserved for when I'm pissed.
Get some fresh lemons some good manuka honey and some whiskey Squeeze a whole lemon, teaspoon and half of honey in a mug a quarter of whiskey top up with hot water And sip lovely before bed have a couple through the day. For sore throats teaspoon of the manuka honey.
