  1. IMG_1975.JPG IMG_1976.JPG Bought off eBay on Thursday, arrived today and fitted this aft. Quality product and a good pressure fit inside the Radiator. £28 delivered but sent the seller a couple of photos and he sent me a tenner back! :)

  4. Do you have the actual link, rather than a picture of it?

  5. Agreed it looks very nice and should protect from stray stones etc but I would have some concerns about whether or not it would restrict airflow through the radiator?

  6. Thought about this. I think the holes are 3 x 6mm of something like it so shouldn't block much air.

Sorry, don't know how to link it but here's the item number, 302349788833

  7. Looks better than that bit of crap fixed to mine.

  8. Must admit I have had that thought about slight air restriction as well. My 998 does run pretty hot especially in the summer, it would be interesting to see what the running temperature is with one of these guards fitted.

I can see it being a bit more viable on the 748 models maybe, as my 748 seems to run a bit cooler by comparison.

  9. That would make sense as they have the same rads? and power generates heat. 998 makes more power than 748 so creates more heat.

  10. Did 250 miles on it today. Mixed riding and quite hot. Didn't notice any difference in temp. It's staying on! :)
