That's just me, I do like it and the first time I rode it I thought why haven't I bought one before, I am not bothered if I sell it, hence the price I have seen a custom Triumph I like the look off (I know I am mad)
TBF the prices have been strong for a while, it's about right today for an asking price, I would be 'asking' £12k for my 1984 mile example if I was daft enough to sell. A Triumph Custom instead of an SFS try seeing a psychiatrist
This just seeped into the 'why the fuck hasn't this sold' section. With the original parts: Bargain. I had one. I know.
Plenty of rare bikes out there because they didn't sell. Doesn't make them more valuable than the ones that did. Intrigued as to what makes them more expensive
I think nobody really 'got them' at the time. Tastes change and now they are a bit coveted. I put mine in foir a service and the dealer offered to buy it off me. Apparently he sells them into Germany where they are very popular.
I ask as it would be a perfect track bike for me I think, but they are out of budget where a 1098s would be in. Yet they have the same risks as owning a 1098.
they are holding there value at the moment, depends what you want, sounds like you would be better off with a 1098S, but then some of these are expensive with the right bit on them
