  2. Why so soon David? Just curious.

  3. That's just me, I do like it and the first time I rode it I thought why haven't I bought one before, I am not bothered if I sell it, hence the price

I have seen a custom Triumph I like the look off (I know I am mad)

  4. How many miles on it please?

  5. Just under 13,000

  6. I know the price is a bit high but I thought I would just see, not too bothered if it doesn't go

  7. TBF the prices have been strong for a while, it's about right today for an asking price, I would be 'asking' £12k for my 1984 mile example if I was daft enough to sell.
A Triumph Custom instead of an SFS  try seeing a psychiatrist :p

  8. Reduced to £8,999

  9. This just seeped into the 'why the fuck hasn't this sold' section. With the original parts: Bargain. I had one. I know.

  11. Just updated some info

  12. GLWS

Are these worth so much more than a 1098S of same age/miles/condition? :)

  13. A lot rarer @bradders They never sold in any great numbers, they weren't cheap new, for a naked.

  14. Plenty of rare bikes out there because they didn't sell. Doesn't make them more valuable than the ones that did. Intrigued as to what makes them more expensive :)

  15. I think nobody really 'got them' at the time. Tastes change and now they are a bit coveted.

I put mine in foir a service and the dealer offered to buy it off me. Apparently he sells them into Germany where they are very popular.

  16. I ask as it would be a perfect track bike for me I think, but they are out of budget where a 1098s would be in. Yet they have the same risks as owning a 1098.

  17. they are holding there value at the moment, depends what you want, sounds like you would be better off with a 1098S, but then some of these are expensive with the right bit on them

  18. They are more at risk of pulling a wheelie.

Anyway, Pic opportunity of mine. I love this bike.

  19. If you are refering to the bottom end, no, they use the 1198 bearings IIRC. @Exige ?

  20. Correct - 1198 bottom end and 1098 top end :)
