Went to Manchester to pick up our two grandsons who we've got for a sleepover tonight. Upset daughter in law about them moving to Scotland at the end of the month, and taking grandchildren away. Am I bothered? Am I fuck. We then took the boys (5yo & 3yo) to the local tennis clubs open day. Lots of things for them to do there, and the 5yo even climbed up a 10m climbing wall and jumped off the top trusting the auto belay! Now back at home and they are playing with the toys/cars we have here. I'm so gonna miss them when they move
I became a granddad 8 months ago to a beautiful granddaughter. I work away from home for 6 weeks at a time and I hate saying goodbye to her and know that it'll take about a week or more before she settles with me again every time I come home, so I feel you pain ET.
