  1. Sorry lads, I know its not bike related but been looking out for a Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo. Even one not cosmetically great would suit for my own use. Rare enough beast over here I know there's a few floating about in various states of repair in Blighty. Bit of a long shot I know lol!

  3. Make sure it has had the cambelt done. It's a big expensive job on them.

  4. Wow, I almost bought one of these when they 1st came out..I opted for the Alfa GTV V6 3 litre instead when it never broke down it was a lovely car.

  5. Cheers lads, yep know the ins and outs of them as I've worked for Fiat when I was younger and they were only launched. Been watching ebay also but no joy as of yet so thought I'd just throw it out there in case someone hear knew of anything. Wouldn't mind buying something mechanically sound but with a few marks and bumps either. Real fun car these!

  6. Always liked them in sprint? Blue.

  7. Yea Sprint Blue is a great colour. There a car that are getting better looking as they get older, a bit like the 999

  8. Under steer to hell though. Bloody quick in a straight line, plus they sound great.

  9. I would probably aim the other way. Mechanical bits can be sorted far more easily than oddball trim and body parts... how did I form this opinion? Ex Lancia owner.

  10. Well I own a garage here and bodyshop so once its mechanically sound we can sort any body issues quite easily. Had a quick scan through Autotrader too. a few possible candidates there also

  11. Body is good then, do choose one with a good interior though!

  13. Trying to do a deal on one at the minute in Buckinghamshire, sounds like it could be a goer so hopefully. I'll take another though and a nice Alfa Spider too since I sold 07 2.2 JTS recently and miss it!

  14. They need bigger wheels. They look too small, but otherwise quite a stylish car. I say this as someone round here has one lowered (not too low) with bigger wheels (not too big) and it looks the business. Its blue. Lovely.

  15. i still have one i bring out the odd summer. 20v but non turbo right enough. superb engine. in my mind possibly the best. lovey rort/scream from the motor. nearly bought a turbo last year but i had three 155's already in different guises plus a 2.4 stillo abarth at the time.i just couldn't. fecking love em. the turbo is a different beast altogether. v.fast,v.cool.
he was wanting £1500. it was the right color, bottle Green but the wrong crease on the bonnet and roof. (not closed properly). T.Belts are a piece o piss. you can easily do them with the engine in.
there are some rarer models still kicking about. six speed boxes, lower with body kits on them. think its a bigger bore engine to.
and yip, boots is right, the standard wheels do look a little small tho i am sure the turbo wheels are bigger.

  16. Your a sucker for punishment Finm!!!I love Alfas myself, just sold my Spider 2.2 a few weeks back and am eyeing up another at the minute. Would love a decent 155 but most have disappeared now. Plenty of 156s around but never done much for me. Been looking out for a Punto GT 1.4 Turbo as well lately, hens teeth though. A nice 20V Turbo Coupe would keep me playing for another while, yer man in Buckinghamshire is still emailing away so hopefully we'll manage to buy the bloody thing, if not I'll just have to keep looking. Do please keep an eye out lads if ye know of one about

  17. try a company called SOLO ITALIA. i have used them a few times, good guy, he often has them in. he recently converted one to a 1900jtd. and it just so happens i have a complete 156 2.4jtd for breaking.
    so.......

  18. Well I landed myself the red one in Marlow I've been chasing, seems really honest in red with a recent cambelt and a full history. Pity it only has the cloth interior but I'll try and find one now broken so I can snaffle the leather interior!
