My 1198s is coming together and last bit is finalising the tail tidy Have picked up an evotech tail tidy which I am very impressed by Also have bought an R&G numberplate light which is very small and unobtrusive Where do people put the reflector if anywhere? I want to put one on as my mot guy always insists - and sticks it on the numberpate if necessary Dont want to do that - also I have got a ducati flag reflector whihc I quite like! Could put it below the numberplate light but looks cluttered Anyone got the same or a similar setup and if so what did you do?
Dont tell 'the man', but I dont run a reflector on my 1098. I have two numberplates, one slightly small, one normal size. The normal size has the reflector and thats the one my bike wears at MOT time.
if that's other colours than red then at mot time it could fail. Believe they have to be wholly red. I have a tail tidy on mine, but just attach the OEM reflector when I have to. matt
I do the same just change for legal size plate with reflector on MOT day. Have Italian flag reflector below small number plate. Regards Steve
My old bike passed with the Italian one last time, think he just looked for a red reflector and ticked the box. Sounds like it could vary...Same ole, same ole...:biggrin:
Reflector?? Whats one of those? My 749 hasn't had one on since I brought it 4 years ago, passed everytime no questions. Must also note that I have used different testing establishments everytime.
