Sorry Phil, but when you get to my age, a nice staid and comfortable Honda will be a "babe" magnet. good to hear you getting mobile again, though, and in the blink of an eye you will be aboard the duc and trading the Honda for something more sporty. the definition of "babe" is the variable in the equation
All 3! A day without chips is like a day without sunshine! The way the weather is at the moment I'm eating a lot of chips!
I only wish I knew the answer to that one. I did suggest/ask was there any way we, as the forum, could do something for his family/funeral. I'm not local to him, and didn't speak to him, but to read some of his posts, re the stuff he had to deal with, just makes me feel so sad that he couldn't talk to someone who might have helped. I've suffered from depression in the past, and know that having good friends to talk to helped me, and would willingly talk to and listen to anyone on here who needed it. If anyone on here was local to him, could they let us know if the family have any requests for donations. Chris
Thanks, just been on a date. Really nice girl and I think we connected well. There will be a second date. I'm crazy sore now, but its been worth it. On the way home I put it into semi auto mode (its got a tiptronic mode) and tried to persuade myself its a bit like a Porsche! It does shift nicely in tiptronic, its not one of these where you hit the lever and it shifts 3 years later, its not far off instant (probably 1/2 a second at most)
Great news. to return from a date "crazy sore" sounds like a result to me! went to physio Thursday, and had a young lady rubbing a lump in my groin - unfortunately, she was just breaking down scar tissue in adductor longus... At least one of us here is getting progress
Worked, had christmas lunch with the girlies and then had my hair cut popped into tesco to get some wrapping paper saw how quiet it was and decided to do the food shop for Christmas which was planned for Sunday! Now just to wrap the nippers presents and enjoy the festive season oh after working half day on Christmas Eve
I seem to remember he had a brother? in Aussie about to get married, also didn't he get his materials for his case-savers from an Uncle, so I think he def. had a family.
One too many beers again last night. Hey, the boss was paying, it would have been rude to turn him down:wink: My mate's picking me up this morning to go and look at the Francis Barnet he wants me to restore. So that'll end down the pub for sure. Think I'll just pop down the shops and buy some anadins...
Ya know, I might go out to the garage and re build that cbr brake caliper that arrived the other week....
