  2. I was up bright an early and swapped the bar end mirror from 748 to the 900ss .
Went down to mates shop to pick up chain and sprockets and jump into the postman who was trying to deliver my cables ( from exige) and my Halfords card to the shop next door which wasn't open.
took ss down the ace to test mirror..
it helps but I think I'll get the extenders as well.
finished off the afternoon fitting chain and sprocks..

  5. Mrs has just gone to work, she's been working a lot lately, not sure what she is up to.
Before you think it, she's pregnant, that's just wrong. Although... someone has to pay the bills, so I guess as long as she's productive with her time.

Fortunately I have handed over some of the work on the house today, to people who know what they are doing. Which limits what I can do for a while, that's my excuse. Seems knocking down the wall in the kitchen so she can watch the TV, the joke is on me now. I said 2 houses ago, I'm not doing construction work while living in.

I can't even use grinder tonight, as I have a little one. Not had a good ride for a while now, the urge is strong. One bike now needs an mot.. might slip it in early next week if I get 5 mins < too graphic?

Should be at the meeting of the sausages. Hoping for good weather.

  6. o_O

  8. Your sausage meeting someone got you in that trouble

  9. Yesterday SWMBO and I went to Carfest North. I quite enjoyed it.

Lots of very special cars there but the stars in my eyes were the the two Pagani's. Absolutely beautiful and roared and barked when revved. Unlike the McLaren or the Ferraris that seemed no louder than a Skoda Flavia!

Lots of other activities like Moto X, monster truck displays, Horseboarding etc which kids (large and small) loved

And best music act? Seasick Steve in top spot IMO, he was brilliant. Then Sophie Ellis Bexter, Black Grape, Rick Astley, Melanie C and in last place Soul II Soul, who were shite.

And as a bonus the weather held up. Top festival in spite of Chris Evans and profits go to Children in Need too.

Only downside to the day was my phone died about 2pm so I didn't get as many pics and videos as I wanted........but I did get some :upyeah:

  11. Ah - yes.....dont think i can make it (its a bit far away but hey the bbq was even further i think!)....

  12. Fortunately It's not far from me.

With it being a Sunday, I guess it's not practical for everyone who might stop overnight (work Monday), although some people did travel a long way last year I recall?

I don't mind putting a couple people up that I've met, in my semi building site house, I'm not going into work Monday, I have a meeting at 12ish..

  13. WP_20170730_11_02_01_Pro.jpg WP_20170730_11_02_14_Pro.jpg been in the shed fitting some very well priced, fantastic cables to the 900.
never had any starting issues but after shelling out hundreds on a new sprag on the 748 I thought I'd go down the prevention route this time!

  17. Had a heavy cold all week but had a cycle around the Somerset Levels this morning, did 30ish fairly flat miles and a good pace which surprised me as It felt like hard work. Be glad to shake off the remnants of the cold. This afternoon it has be raining so curled up on the sofa faffing around on here, Facebook and internet in general.

  18. Fitted new front wheel bearings, then for some reason had to bleed the brakes as the lever had very little movement.

  19. The in-laws came round for tea, and brought me some roller-blades they'd seen for sale in Poundland.
