The "350LC" logo looks a little too high Ron. Here's mine, prety much where I believe they should go. Some, like the link above show them fitted diagonally, which look terrible imo. The bike in the link has the decals fitted in different places side to side too.
Looks like the old trick of spray the bike in WD40, including switch gear, hope he didn't do the disc's needs a new horn button Im pretty sure the side panels were never lacquered over the decals from new but the tank was.
@Exige, your opinion on this one. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2005-DUCA...436961?hash=item3aec3baca1:g:Uo4AAOSwEgZZfvuB. Andy
I think you are correct and they are easy to replace. The stripes are clearcoated over though. My "350LC" logos are clearcoated over as they have been pained by Dream Machine, luckily in the correct position.
Hardly the last version as the 06 model year was, this being a 3rd year out of the 4. Also an Evo is a Mitsubishi? Looks good all the same - but I never really thought these looked their best with red frames and two vent Fairing Uppers. Not so sure about a second had bike (no matter what mileage) with an asking price you would expect a new one to be. If it's £20k what is a proper unused one worth - last one I saw sold on an asking price of £18K for an undisclosed amount =/< £18k, only a short time ago. I think 100 miles / 500 miles / 1000 miles is all of a muchness - at least they can be used a little without dropping the value off a cliff. The later bikes were often revered for the increased power - although in reality most of it was from Ducati starting to measure BHP at the crank in 2004 and not at the rear wheel as before
"and no silly offers" - but he puts a silly price on it... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1967-MV-A...108112?hash=item41cbdca090:g:TaEAAOSw5jpZfsOo
