For Sale Ebay Bikes

  1. Definitely not an original Xerox - not even the paintwork is even close to an original one and there are no black forks or rearsets, and no red Brembo lettering on the front calipers. I'm guessing it's an '04 with some paint.

  2. Another exhibit for a double glazing showroom? Are there enough unregistered/unridden superbikes out there for every showroom or will some DG showrooms have to plump for a Wurlitzer jukebox???

  3. I've got a Wurlitzer your Lordship, if you ever decide to re-open your used vehicle emporium :p

  4. Looks like a 50's juke- I love them but won't be reopening the car pitch because I promised Surrey Trading Standards! They reckoned that they had 4 filing cabinets just for us? Poor guy nearly had a heart attack when I opened another site in his jurisdiction

  5. We had a full size Snooker Table in our showroom at Raynes Park (Wimbledon). It was old and shiny but saw plenty of action! We were banned from the local hotel (premier inn or whatever they were called in the late 80's)after we had a record month and I treated the whole firm - 11 salesmen,4 mechanics,5 drivers and 3 vale tees and cleaners! We had a full on "Animal House" toga party complete with a heavy food fight! They had to shut for 3/4 days to redecorate

  6. This is how dealers are trying to push the prices up.....sometimes it works.
Joe sees this and believes f@ck me already made a nice profit if I sell and when it comes to sell no one is actually buying.
Desmosedici RR are selling for 45k that is not even a great profit and that bikes is a lot more exotic (in my opinion) than the superleggera.

  7. He's dropped this by £250 since it never sold and even at this, it's still not at his reserve. : unamused: He needs to keep going down by another £4.5k imo.

  8. He's on the RDLC Crazy Forum - It's easy to advertise at a premium price, not so easy to sell. It may be a lovely example, but I don't like the paint, and the Lord loves a "Trier"

  9. Spot on.
Same thing with 250 race replicas(RGV, RS250,TZR250,NSR250)..7k on ebay, guess dealers waiting for the right person to turn up. In reality one would struggle to sell for 5k (if mint with low miles).
Only bike that sell for that sort of monies is the RGV250 VJ23

  10. Not quite, I sold my NSR250 MC28 SP for £9k GBP 10 months ago and MC21SP for £6k 6 months ago ;-)

  11. Bike Specialists just sold one with 2k miles at £17k.

  12. Good, I have a Fila with 1500 miles on :) did it deffo sell though, many put bikes there and take them back again when they don't sell.

  13. I deliberately did not mention SP(sport production?) that is not just a plain NSR250...:)
    You was also lucky...
    998
    998s
    998S FE
    998r are not priced evenly.

  14. Thats a lot of money and i wouldn't think he will get any were near that, looks like he is trying to get his total build money back as to build that bike will be very close to 10k including purchase of an LC to start with.
