So what have you done today..?

  1. As the weather is so inclement today, I got in the garage early and started stripping the crash bars, fairings and petrol tank off the Multistrada to fit replacement heated grips. Took 10 minutes to fit the grips but nearly 2 hours to get all the ancilliary stuff off to get at the connectors. As all the panels were off decided to give them a thorough clean and polish so took another 2 1/2 hours to put everything back together. Still the bike looks lovely and clean and the heated grips work again, hoorah ! Andy

  9. The wife says I'm a typically, tight-fisted, ass-hole of a Yorkshireman, so to prove her wrong I took her out for tea and biscuits today.



    It was quite a surprise, as she had never given blood before

  10. Finished painting the garden fence then polished the Multistrada
    Head bearing for the Bevel arrived in post so they got fitted if the stanchions come back from the chromers will rebuild the forks . Hopeing to get bike finished by end of month

  15. Went out for what must be the best curry I've had in years tonight - 4 of us who have known each other for 45+ years! Afterwards we all went to a nearby pub and watched the England Woman's football which I had bet Holland to win 3-0 @ 5/1 - not very patriotic I know? But I couldn't believe it when Holland knocked in their 3rd goal in what was literally the last kick of the game

  16. Repsol 10w50 fully synthetic oil turned up this morning for my hyper and ktm 525. 73 quid delivered for 4x 4liter tubs. Fucking bargain, Might even buy some more....

  20. Escaped for a bumble out on the 1098R at 6pm, black clouds and bits of blue sky but hey, it's not a fair weather toy :innocent: thank fu*k it didn't rain o_O
