That's £156 million a week PLUS the billions that the UK collects in EU tariffs ,and then sends to Brussels..EU tariffs that bump up the cost of imports,(including many foodstuffs),that mean the importer hikes the prices to the distributor,who hikes the price to the retailer,who hikes the prices that the UK customer has to pay for the imported goods. So when people bitch about the cost of something they've imported something from the States and anywhere else outside the EU,they can sit back comfortably knowing that part of their money has been put towards those lovely MEP's pensions,generous allowances,or a new EU building somewhere..... It's a fucking joke.
