Only good paper is folding stuff, if you going to be stiffed; you think they care about bill of sale? Point is you have to action the bike recovery, report, follow up, claim in court, decision, costs youend up walking away if they con you easier? cant get conned if you have folding money? Bank transfer is all right from healthy, reputable, business, (worry about reputation?) but i will only accept payment first from individuals, because they are harder to check and recover from, doesn't apply to trusted friends?
If you are worried about fake notes meet at a bank and get the staff there to check it as they pay it in to your account. If you are worried about a transfer being recalled and want to know the real answer as opposed to all of our opinions, try sending someone a small amount by transfer and then 10 minutes later try to get it back through your bank.
Yep go with your gut instinic or sixth sense, walk away or follow the document/photo route of person turning up & email/paypal matching details lark. This has triggered a far gone memory of a gipsy turning up with a shoe-box of cash to buy a £11,000 6-berth caravan I owned. My instructions were to not turn up with cash without bringing a utility-bill & photo driving documents. Along with going to a local bank to verify the cash was legal tender just a couple of miles away. ..He was a busy man & wanted to hitch up & get on with his day!
Only if they are identified while you have them? your right! how many do we pass and never know,???? bitcoins then? gold bars trade old gold, 2xDB34s for a Pantha

brought a super mono, Gilera, Puma from a crook in NZ, never got the bike; he told me it was stored a motorcycle shop in Auckland; visited the shop, discovered my bike had been left as collateral for a debt owed by the crook to the shop and the engine cases had been emptied? engine was blown up before i purchased it?. Got the owner of the shop to ring the crook and tell him a very angry Aussie had been in the shop and kicked a line of Harleys over and had to be removed by the police, the shop owner told the crook I had his address, and was coming for him next? the crook supplied a carboot full of racing leathers to the shop owner to get the lien off the bike; I visited the crook, (he was shaking because my reputaion had preceeded me, lol) and encouraged him in my presence to return 75% of the price of the bike as it effectively had no engine. he did this, I returned to Australia, he reversed the deposit. Another occasion, an invoice was sent to my accounts department using a slight modification of my mail address instructing my accounts department to pay $26000AUD to an account in Tasmania, (for consulting services). I noted the transaction in question but it went through literally 10secs before i tried to stop it, I got the interbank phone number for the fraud section, (internal number), from an inexperience bank employee, and she locked the account, reversed the transaction under a inter-bank protocol, used in cases of fraud, bank employee got reamed, i got $26k back?
